I am not good enough!
I feel like the world is against me!
No one likes me!
If these or similar statements play on your mind, it's time to pause and take stock of the root cause.

"Stop allowing your own insecurities to colour the way you interpret someone else's intention"
Pay attention to the area in which most of your critical thinking arises. For instance, if you feel that people do not like you and are constantly making fun of your looks, it could stem from your insecurity about it.
There are two ways of dealing with it:
Ignoring the feeling
Acknowledging the feeling
What would you do?
We are not talking about others, whether they are right or wrong. We are focussing on the only controllable factor, which is us. By acknowledging the feeling we have taken the first step. The next step would be to address it by taking baby steps. Ex. spend some time grooming, wearing clothes that make you happy and work for you etc.
"Insecurity has a way of distorting reality and making you doubt your own value"
How we talk to ourselves is as important as how others speak to us. It has a direct impact on how we feel and act. Let's be kind to ourselves. Overcoming insecurities leads to happiness. Building self-confidence, cultivating positive relationships, and pursuing meaningful goals enhance happiness and reduce insecurity.
Now let me try and share some steps that are easy to follow:
Avoid negative self-talk
Practice self-compassion
Set realistic goals
Seek professional help
Celebrate the smallest of wins :)
Remember that, it's beautiful being YOU!
